Grandma Duck is Dead performed in the Chapter Select Showcase at the Howell Theatre at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, for 4500 International Thespian Festival delegates.

South Carolina Speech and Theatre Association 2018 High School Festival
Megan Henke and Vincent Pedersen (DFC) earned third place for their Duet Musical.
Julia Richardson clinched third place in Original Dramatic Monologue.
Kristina Thacker and Evelyn Schrader took third place for their Dramatic Duet scene.
Kalista Pedersen earned third place in Technical Design, third in Solo Musical Theatre, and third place in the Triple Threat category.
Zachary Urban was awarded second place in the Triple Threat category.
The cast of A Midsummer Night's Dream (Kalista Pedersen, Alex Davis, Trey Westbrook, Zach Urban, Leena Bishop and Maria Gajdosik) won second place in Group Acting.
Perrion Porter took first place in Dramatic Solo Musical.
The cast of The Wizard of Oz (Sarah Hoffman, Perrion Porter, David Pierce and EJ Daniels) clenched first place in the State for Group Musical Theatre!
 
Palmetto Dramatic Association High School One Act Play Festival 2018
The cast of "Grandma Duck is Dead" earned FIRST PLACE in the state, advancing to Nationals in Nebraska to represent the state of South Carolina in the National One Act Play Chapter Select Showcase in June.
Zach Urban earned the Blair Beasley $1,000 scholarship and a $500 scholarship from Winthrop University.
